When an Octone Records artist is opening for a band or playing at a venue that does not allow taping, the taping policy of the headlining band or venue overrides Octone’s policy. When an Octone Records artist is performing at a festival or other event featuring multiple bands, that particular event’s policy may override Octone Records’ customary taping policy. Yesterday and they are all for it, and I contacted someone at their label who replied and says he will be talking to Maroon5's management shortly. I spoke to several band members at a show RIGHTS In June 2003, Maroon5 gave permission to Elana Gershuny for shows to be hosted at the Archive:
